Encounter the wild world of Long Island in these unique programs designed for children ages 3-5 and at least one accompanying adult.

Butterfly Fun
*Environmental Center, Islip

Join us as we celebrate some of nature's most colorful creatures.  We'll learn about the butterfly's special features and then take a hike in search of them.  Program fee is $4 for members, $6 for non-members.

What Can you Find in a Nature Square?

When you look at the grass, what do you see?  Let's get out the magnifying glasses and take a really close look.  How many things can you find?  Program fee is $4 for members, $6 for non-members.

Music with Nature

Music is potentially everywhere in nature.  We'll take a walk through the woods to gather things we can use to make musical instruments.  Program fee $4 for members, $6 for non-members.

Sand, plants, fish, shells, water, rocks....what else is there at the seashore?  Join us as we explore the beach to find out.
