Seatuck's research roots run deep. In fact, Charles Webster founded the organization in 1989 to continue the work of the Seatuck Research Program, a partnership between the Peters-Webster family, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, and the Cornell University Lab of Ornithology that spent ten years (1979 - 1989) researching salt marsh management, nesting waterbirds, local deer populations, Lyme disease and other topics related to suburban wildlife. |
